Cultivated in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains of rural northern NJ and currently anchored in the bizarre universe that is Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley, Night Click mines the void for an image, a time, or some fleeting anomalous elegance in a postmodern world. The often starkly irreverent lyrics of songwriter Michael Klics capture passive social frustrations and highlight the subtle absurdity of 21st century existence.
Night Click offers a familiar but unique arrangement of sounds, pulling influences from Randy Newman, Whitney, The War on Drugs, Emmit Rhodes, Big Harp, and numerous others.
Inspired by creative pop music of the late 1960’s, The Big Drops is a four-piece musical troupe of fantastical, magical, and often times psychedelic rock ‘n’ rollers. Founded by two brothers, Greg and Vram Kherlopian in 2011 while living together in a small log cabin in Hewitt NJ. Caleb Estey (drums) and Steve Donahue (bass) completed the band in 2013. The group released their debut full length album, Time, Color on June 23rd 2017.
