Lelica (pronounced Laleesa) is a pop/folk singer/songwriter from northern NJ. Singing and picking up instruments and plunking around since age 5, Lelica took her love for music into recording studios by age 19 as a session singer. She was first discovered and signed by indie label, Green Chapel Records, in 2009. The track, ‘Come Away’, from their outing, “Not a Moment Too Late.” was featured on ABC Family’s “Make it or Break It” and “The Lying Game”.

Lelica left Green Chapel records in 2011 to self-release her first album, “Without a Warning.” Playing venues in the NYC & Tri-State area as well as some across the country for over 15 years including performances at The Bitter End, Strand Theater, Roxy Theater, Waterloo Music Festival, Skylands Art & Music Festival, the Ohio State Fair Main Street Stage, she has played the renowned Bethlehem MUSIKFEST for 4 consecutive years, and has opened up for the likes of Chris Barron (Spin Doctors) and Christine Martucci. Lelica was also a Semi-Finalist for Z100’s Hometown Hero Contest in 2011.

NEW ALBUM, “Flicker and a Flash” to be released in Fall of 2024, is a mesmerizing blend of ambient soundscapes, rock intensity, pop melodies and folk ukulele. This album blends the intimate strumming of the ukulele with ambient and pop sounds, creating a unique and heartfelt musical experience. The album’s tracks capture a range of emotions and personal stories, offering a raw and honest reflection of Lelica’s decade long journey from her first to her second album.
